Familiarity with spa equipment, scheduling software, and product inventory systems is typically required. Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor help you provide a welcoming and efficient client experience. These competencies are essential for supporting licensed estheticians, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth daily operations in a spa or salon environment.

Their duties often include preparing treatment rooms, sanitizing equipment, greeting clients, maintaining inventory, and sometimes assisting with basic skincare procedures under supervision. Esthetician Assistants help ensure a smooth workflow so that estheticians can focus on providing high-quality treatments. While they are not licensed to perform advanced procedures, their support is essential to the daily operations of skincare establishments.

What is the highest paying job for an esthetician?
