Position Title: Maintenance Manager, Laundry Services
Location: Commercial Laundry Services; St George, UT
Compensation: $28-$33/hour DOE
Reports To: Plant Manager

Reef has partnered through a joint-venture with Commercial Laundry Services, based in St. George, Utah, to provide high-quality laundry services to Black Desert Resort, a property within the Reef portfolio.
Position Summary:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all equipment and systems within the bulk laundry plant. This role ensures minimal downtime, preventive maintenance, and swift responses to any mechanical or electrical issues. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and the ability to manage a team while ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.


Responsibilities:

Equipment Maintenance & Repairs

  • Ensure all laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, conveyors, presses, and boilers, are maintained and operating efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues promptly.
  • Implement and manage a preventive maintenance program to reduce unplanned downtime.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and lead the maintenance team, providing training and mentorship to enhance their skills.
  • Assign tasks, prioritize workload, and monitor performance to ensure maintenance goals are met.
  • Develop a positive work environment that fosters collaboration and accountability.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all maintenance work adheres to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, identifying and resolving potential hazards.
  • Keep up-to-date documentation of repairs, inspections, and compliance records.

Inventory & Budget Management

  • Manage the inventory of tools, spare parts, and supplies to ensure timely repairs and prevent downtime.
  • Coordinate with vendors and order parts as necessary, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Assist in developing and managing the maintenance budget.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve plant operations through equipment upgrades and process improvements.
  • Participate in capital improvement projects, including installing and testing new equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Plant Manager to strategize solutions to recurring equipment issues.

Emergency Response

  • Provide immediate support during equipment breakdowns to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Maintain an on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies, ensuring quick response times.

Qualifications:

  • Industrial Maintenance, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance management in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and workplace safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, such as climbing, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
  • Comfortable working in a hot, humid, and noisy environment with machinery in operation.
  • Availability for on-call emergencies and flexibility for overtime as needed.
