ESS Clinical is seeking a School Services School Physical Therapist for a local contract job in St Augustine, Florida.

ESS Clinical is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in partnership with St. Johns County School District for the 2026โ€“2027 school year!
Pay starting from $52/hr up to $60/hr

We offer w2 and 1099 options

No non-competes in our contracts

Position Responsibilities
  • Evaluate students with physical and motor impairments to determine educational therapy needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans in accordance with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
  • Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students from preschool through high school.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, parents, and related service providers to support student success.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, Medicaid billing (when applicable), and compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and goal development.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment, positioning, mobility devices, and environmental modifications as needed.
  • Promote student independence, functional mobility, and access to the educational setting.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Florida Physical Therapist License issued by the Florida Board of Physical Therapy.
Required Certifications & Licensure
  • Active Florida Physical Therapist (PT) License.
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) as required for Florida licensure.
