  • We are hiring immediately for full time MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN positions.
  • Location: JD Lodge - 40 Miles South Of Carlin, Eureka, NV 89316 Note: online applications acceptedย only.
  • Schedule: Full time schedule. 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Hotel, Casino, or Apartment Maintenance experience preferred.
  • Perks: Meals and lodging provided! Weekly Pay; $1,900 - $2,100! 44 hours of weekly overtime!
  • Pay Range:ย $14.00ย per hour toย $20.00ย per hour.

Job Summary


Summary:ย 
Performs a variety of skilled maintenance duties related to facility engineering and maintenance functions, while providing field leadership, ensuring quality assurance, supporting training efforts, and managing escalations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:ย 
o ย  ย Assists in making decisions on all normal and complex repairs; reports major problems to the maintenance supervisor and foreman.ย 
o ย  ย Constructs, finishes, installs, maintains and repairs electrical and mechanical systems, or the facilities of any related systems, using power and hand tools and other necessary equipment.ย 
o ย  ย Cleans, lubricates, services, repairs or diagnoses malfunction of HVAC, electrical and mechanical building systems, sterilizers, sprinkler and standpipe systems, transport systems, electronic signaling systems, fire alarm systems and similar specialty equipment items with appropriate training, certification skills and licensing requirements as needed.ย 
o ย  ย Supervises and leads a group of workers on a project.ย 
o ย  ย Reads, comprehends and transmits complicated detailed instructions verbally and in writing.ย 
o ย  ย Teaches advanced maintenance skills to other members of the department.ย 
o ย  ย Reviews work of outside vendors and licensed maintenance workers; makes punch lists.ย 
o ย  ย Reports on and repairs discrepancies as assigned.ย 
o ย  ย Analyzes and corrects complex building system problems, alone or as part of a team.ย 
o ย  ย Maintains logs, performs rounds and completes work orders, tests and inspections.ย 
o ย  ย Makes recommendations for modification or improvement of preventive maintenance systems.ย 
o ย  ย Serves as a member of facility emergency response team.ย 
o ย  ย Performs other duties as assigned.ย 

Qualifications:ย 
o ย  ย Four years of skilled trade school or maintenance vocational schooling.ย 
o ย  ย Five years of experience as a maintenance technician in an institutional setting in an engineering or maintenance discipline.ย 
o ย  ย Two years of experience as a licensed Journeyman in the specialized trade.ย 

Must have one of the following:ย 
o ย  ย Master license in one trade or two of the following Journeyman Electrical License or Registered ACR Technician with EPA certification in Refrigerant, or a Journeyman Plumber License, etc.ย 
o ย  ย Valid driverโ€™s license.ย
