JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Esri Sales Executive to become a key member of our consulting sales team. This individual will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients and decision-makers, and selling Esri-based GIS solutions and professional services that address complex business and operational challenges.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Esri ArcGIS platform and the GIS ecosystem, combined with a proven track record of selling technology solutions, consulting services, or enterprise software. This role requires a consultative sales approach and the ability to understand client needs, articulate the business value of GIS and geospatial solutions, and collaborate with technical teams to develop compelling solutions and proposals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prospect, identify, and develop new businessopportunities for Esri-based GIS solutions, geospatial technology, andrelated consulting services
  • Leverage existing relationships with business owners,C-level executives, IT leaders, GIS leaders, and other key decision-makersacross target industries
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline throughproactive prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, andstrategic account development
  • Articulate the value of Esri ArcGIS solutions, GIStechnology, geospatial data, and related professional services toprospective clients
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand clientbusiness challenges, operational needs, and technology requirements andalign them with appropriate GIS solutions
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing clientrelationships through additional GIS consulting, implementation,integration, application development, and managed services
  • Develop and deliver professional sales presentations,solution demonstrations, proposals, and statements of work incollaboration with technical and sales support teams
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting andqualification through proposal development, negotiation, contractexecution, and hand off to delivery teams
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with clientsand serve as a strategic advisor throughout the sales process
  • Collaborate with GIS consultants, solutionarchitects, project managers, and technical teams to develop solutionsthat address client requirements
  • Attend industry conferences, networking events, andEsri-related events to build brand awareness, generate leads, and expandprofessional networks
  • Support senior sales leadership with pipelinemanagement, account planning, forecasting, and business developmentinitiatives
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging geospatialtechnologies, and evolving client needs to identify new opportunities forgrowth
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial terms whileworking toward or exceeding established sales targets and revenue goals
  • Maintain accurate opportunity, pipeline, and accountinformation within the company's CRM and sales management processes

Requirements
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in technologysales, consulting sales, account management, or business development
  • Proven experience selling Esri, ArcGIS, GISsolutions, geospatial technology, or related technology consultingservice
  • Strong understanding of the GIS and geospatialtechnology market, including familiarity with the Esri ArcGIS platformand its applications in enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and buildrelationships with business owners, C-level executives, IT leaders, GISmanagers, and other key decision-maker
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding salesquotas, revenue targets, or business development goal
  • Experience selling complex technology solutionsand/or professional services using a consultative sales approach
  • Strong understanding of software, technologyconsulting, systems integration, and enterprise solution
  • Experience developing proposals, statements of work,and responses to RFPs/RFQs in collaboration with technical team
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, andrelationship-building skill
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability tomanage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortableworking independently in a remote or hybrid environment
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to workeffectively with technical consultants, solution architects, projectmanagers, and internal sales support team
  • Ability and willingness to travel periodically forclient meetings, networking events, conferences, and industry engagement
  • A fearless, entrepreneurial, and mission-drivenattitude with a passion for technology and business development

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Existing relationships within the Esri, GIS,geospatial, or technology consulting ecosystem
  • Experience selling into Oil and Gas, Energy,Public Sector, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Utilities
  • Existing network of contacts within organizationsthat utilize GIS and geospatial technology
  • Familiarity with GIS implementation, systemsintegration, application development, data management, or geospatialanalytics
  • Experience working with Esri partners, Esricustomers, or organizations with enterprise GIS environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, InformationTechnology, GIS, Geography, or a related field is preferred
