Escape room jobs involve working at venues where groups solve puzzles and complete challenges to 'escape' a themed room within a set time limit. Common roles include game master (who guides players and monitors games), puzzle designer, customer service representative, and event coordinator. Employees may also be responsible for resetting rooms, providing safety instructions, and ensuring an engaging experience for guests. These jobs require strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for customer interaction. Escape room staff often work evenings and weekends to accommodate group bookings.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Escapologist, and why are they important?

Mastery of tools such as handcuffs, lock picks, and various stage apparatus is vital, along with knowledge of safety protocols.
