JOB SUMMARY: Develop a client base and acquire new business in the Eastern U.S. for our Richmond VA, Foxboro MA and Gaithersburg MD Locations.


ABOUT US:

Red Door Escape Room is on the cutting edge of escape room entertainment with locations across the U.S. and rapidly growing. We provide a fully immersive entertainment experience perfect for families, friends, corporate groups, sports teams, and more. Groups are locked in a room full of cryptic puzzles and hidden clues and have exactly 60 minutes to solve the clues and escape the room.

Red Door Escape Room is uniquely positioned to service the team-building needs of corporate groups and other local organizations. In addition to the collaborative nature of our episodes and the creative thinking required to succeed, our Richmond location has a large and well-equipped private event space that organizations use to cater food, have meetings, or just as a place for staff to hang out. We provide team-building packages that make it easy for organizations to plan an event at Red Door Escape Room, and increasing the sales of these packages and bringing in new business will be the primary focus of this role.

Requirements:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research the demographics of the sales area and create an appropriate sales strategy.
  • Generates and develops new business and builds a client base to meet specified production goals.
  • Maintains and builds rapport with new and existing clients.
  • Generates new sales leads through cold outreach activities.
  • Manages and follows up with sales leads.
  • Responds to all communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepares and presents personalized sales proposals.
  • Continually gathers information on local competition and prevalent industry and business climate within the region; communicates information to management and others as needed.
  • Identifies and attends community-building events.
  • Identifies and attends networking events that impact business.
  • Attends and participates in team sales meetings.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Expected weekly hours: 40-50

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in a sales role, with outside sales experience preferred.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to multitask, and have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible team player who will do what it takes to accomplish the task.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to give successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
  • Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence promptly.
  • Computer savvy.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • An interest in the escape room industry at some level.

Pay:

  • $32,500-$40,000 base + Commission (Roughly between $60,000-$90,000 per year)
  • After training, uncapped commissions plus a base pay structure
  • Eligibility for bonuses monthly
  • Raise eligibility yearly based on performance
