The Role

The Oracle Technical Architect leads the technical team in designing and implementing technical solutions for Oracle ERP Cloud projects. They collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and IT professionals to ensure optimal system performance, security, and scalability. The successful candidate will have in-depth experience in Oracle ERP cloud, is an eager & quick learner, collaborative, self-motivated, and detail oriented. We are looking for candidates who will leverage their analytical, process-driven, technical and management skills and experience to create and maintain Oracle ERP Cloud solutions while applying agile methods and the 'know how' to build, unit test & document high-quality solutions that meet business requirements and solve for the business objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored Oracle ERP solutions.
  • Oversee and lead ERP end to end implementations, upgrades, and integrations, leveraging best practices.
  • Lead on, off and near shore technical teams leveraging multiple methodologies including agile and waterfall.
  • Interview, hire, and manage full-time employees and contractors to support projects, organization strategy and growth.
  • Identify, document and mitigate implementation risks.
  • Lead and implement reports, integrations, data conversions, extensions and fast formulas.
  • Design and develop high quality and scalable solutions.
  • Design and build reports, dashboards, and extensions using Oracle tools (BI Reports, OTBI, SQL, PL/SQL).
  • Implement integrations with third-party applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and other solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between business and IT teams to align solutions with business goals.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to clients and internal teams.
  • Provide mentorship and develop career path for internal team members.
  • Build cutover plan for technical components.
  • Participate in varied Oracle initiatives and projects.
  • Oversee and provide input to technical designs created by teammates and contractors.
  • Drive customer discussions independently and act as trusted advisor for solutions.
  • Participate in automation and digital transformation activities within or outside the client projects.


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in implementation of Oracle ERP Cloud and Oracle EBS.
  • Prior experience working with large enterprises on consulting, business process improvement and IT implementation.
  • Prior technical experience with Oracle Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud, or Fusion Data Intelligence.
  • Good understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP cloud modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, PO, etc.
  • Drive detailed design for customer requirements and able to develop codes, test and deliver on time.
  • Demonstrates expertise in delivering technical solutions on complex customer engagements.
  • In depth knowledge of end-to-end software development and implementation life cycles.
  • Experience in interacting with business users to analyze the business process and discovering requirements.
  • Contributes to statements of work, work breakdown structures and/or level of effort and staff plans.
  • Presents and demonstrates solutions to customers.
  • Ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions.
  • Passion for Technology and good knowledge of the IT industry.
  • Prior team lead or Architect experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement.
  • Utilize technical and industry knowledge to identify complex client issues and build long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery and networking in professional organizations.
  • Proven ability to contribute on multiple projects of differing scale and duration
  • Establish relationships and conduct communication with key stakeholders, steering committees and client leadership.
  • Collaborate effectively with other groups: both internal and client groups.
  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, MIS, Business, Accounting or relevant major or experience equivalency.

  • Proficiency with Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies.
