7am-3:30pm
As a member of an inter-disciplinary Supply Chain team, a Receiver performs receiving tasks within the ERP system.This includes administrative tasks related to inspection, receiving, and distribution of inbound and outbound shipments.The position is responsible for communicating discrepancies in shipments with the Central Procurement department.The position is responsible for processing returns in conjunction with the Buyer. The position assists with Inventory. Control functions related to receipts for inventory items.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for efficient and timely unloading of shipments from freight carrier through use of
    pallet jack, hand truck, or flatbed
  • Inspects packages for damages
  • Verifies product shipment to packing slip
  • Appropriately and accurately documents receipt of product in Lawson ERP system
  • Identifies and communicates with Central Procurement discrepancies in shipments
  • Files packing slips and receiving records
  • Completes deliver of packages to correct location per Purchase Order
  • Processes vendor returns in the ERP system and for the outbound freight carrier to process
  • May deliver supplies and/or equipment to, departments as appropriate.

Qualifications
Education:
  • High School diploma

Experience:
  • 1-2 years in supply chain distribution. Health care supply chain experience preferred.
  • Preferred experience with business tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, an Outlook.

License(s)/Certification(s):
  • Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-realted reasons.
