The ERP Specialist plays a key role in modernizing and standardizing ERP systems across our clients platform, supporting multiple manufacturing business units. This position is central to the migration from Sage 100 (SQL) to a unified, next‑generation ERP platform while ensuring system stability, data integrity, and process alignment throughout the transition.
Serving as both a functional and technical liaison, the ERP Specialist partners closely with IT, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to optimize business processes, support ERP implementations, and drive platform-wide standardization.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the ERP subject matter expert supporting multiple manufacturing business units
- Support, configure, and enhance existing ERP systems, workflows, and reporting
- Lead and support ERP migration efforts, including system testing, data validation, and user training
- Collaborate with Finance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Sales teams to design scalable and standardized ERP solutions
- Assist with data migration and system integrations between legacy and next-generation ERP platforms
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics using SQL, Power BI, and AI-enabled tools
- Troubleshoot ERP issues and coordinate resolutions with IT teams and external vendors
- Drive multi-site ERP standardization and alignment of business processes
- Ensure data governance, audit readiness, and compliance with internal IT and security standards
- Create SOPs, documentation, and training materials for end users
- Participate in ERP evaluations, pilot programs, and full system deployments
- Support day-to-day ERP operations alongside internal IT teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of hands-on ERP administration or support experience
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and distribution processes
- Proficiency in SQL, data validation, and reporting/analytics tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience supporting users across multiple sites or business units
- Ability to work independently while contributing to enterprise-wide initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- ERP experience in a manufacturing environment
- Background in ERP implementations, upgrades, or migrations
- Experience with data integration, APIs, or reporting automation
- Familiarity with Sage 100 (SQL), including inventory and production modules
- Experience with Power Automate, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools
- ERP certifications and knowledge of enterprise IT security or audit standards
