Job description

Job Title: Financial Analyst

Location: On-site

Position Overview:

An exciting opportunity is available for a detail-driven Financial Analyst to join a high-performance manufacturing organization focused on innovation and operational excellence. This role supports core financial operations, including daily transactional activity and monthly close processes, and plays a key part in the successful implementation and optimization of a new ERP system. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven background in manufacturing finance or accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily financial transactions including accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation.

  • Perform monthly close responsibilities such as journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.

  • Support budgeting and forecasting cycles by compiling data, analyzing trends, and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to collect, validate, and report financial data for leadership decision-making.

  • Assist in the implementation and ongoing optimization of an ERP system, including testing, validation, and training support.

  • Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and process documentation to improve visibility and decision-making.

  • Identify opportunities for improving financial workflows, reporting accuracy, and internal controls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA or Master's degree preferred.

  • 5 7 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and modeling.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics); ERP implementation experience is a strong plus.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

  • Direct involvement in ERP configuration, testing, and user training.

  • Knowledge of cost accounting principles and inventory control in a manufacturing context.

  • Exposure to continuous improvement environments (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
