We are a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP); building automation; and industrial piping contractor. Our team offers a variety of MEP and process piping services, including design-build engineering for new construction and renovation, installation and specialty construction, maintenance, and air balancing, start-up, and energy efficiency services.
Job Summary
DeBra-Kuempel is hiring an experienced ERP Administrator in our Cincinnati office. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing our ERP system, Coins, to support key business functions, including finance, payroll, HR, project management, service, and construction operations. The ideal candidate will have firsthand experience in ERP system administration, implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, and user support. Construction industry may be beneficial but is not required. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the effective design, deployment, and performance of our ERP system to enhance operational efficiency across the organization.
This position may require up to 10% (actual travel may vary by month and business needs) of travel to our offices in Dayton, Columbus, Evansville, Lexington, Louisville, Eastern Kentucky, and the surrounding areas to train internal employees on the ERP system. Higher levels of travel may be necessary during the implementation and initial period after go-live.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
ERP Implementation of Coins:
  • Collaborate with Coins consultants and DeBra-Kuempel stakeholders, including the DeBra-Kuempel ERP project manager, to configure the Coins modules and workflows to meet business requirements.
  • Manage assigned scopes to the implementation schedule to consistently deliver results on time and within budgeted hours.
  • Setup initial ERP configuration, in partnership with Coins, including user roles and permissions.
  • Assist team in meeting implementation go-live and training.

On-Going ERP System Administration and User Support:
  • Manage and maintain the ERP system, including user roles and permissions, testing and implementing upgrades and patches and supporting integrations with other software.
  • Monitor system performance and work act as first-line troubleshooting for system issues and working with Coins helpdesk to resolve issues as necessary.
  • Assist users with resolving technical issues and answering questions related to system functionality.
  • Support finance & accounting and business operations with access to data in Coins and report building and/or dashboards within Coins or adjacent systems (e.g. PowerBI).
  • Develop and maintain data governance standards for key ERP master data including customers, vendors, jobs, cost codes, employees, and system configuration.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Coins consultants, and internal technical resources to ensure the ERP system continues to meet evolving business needs.
  • Manage risks and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner while maintaining. relationships and escalating as appropriate to leadership.
  • Identify and advocate for opportunities to improve workflows, automate manual processes, and leverage ERP functionality to enhance business performance and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with other EMCOR operating companies using Coins on best practices and knowledge-sharing.
  • Partner with Coins consultants and business operations to provide training and support to users across the organization.
  • Collaborate with DeBra-Kuempel team members and outside consultants.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related field.

  • Existing experience with ERP systems and modules
  • Strong technical skills in system administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and SQL database management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong understanding of how technology relates to and supports an organization.
  • Experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, ERP Analyst, or ERP Administrator.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven experience as a construction ERP Software Administrator, Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, ERP Analyst.
  • Experience supporting construction-focused ERP platforms such as Coins, Viewpoint, CMiC, JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar enterprise business systems.
  • Prior experience in ERP configurations, implementation, go-live, and post go-live maintenance.
  • Experience in building and enhancing PowerBI dashboards.
  • Experience with Python programming
