Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant / ERP Systems Administrator to join an established industrial organization. This role is approximately 80% accounting and 20% ERP administration and reports directly to the President.
The ideal candidate will have experience with GL accounting, reconciliations, financial statements, inventory, WIP, job costing, and ERP systems. The company is currently implementing the Spring Point Industrial ERP suite, making this a great opportunity for someone interested in accounting and ERP process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage general accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month/year-end close.

  • Prepare financial statements and financial reports.

  • Manage inventory, raw materials, parts, and WIP accounting.

  • Reconcile A/P, A/R, bank, credit card, and GL accounts.

  • Investigate accounting, inventory, job costing, and ERP discrepancies.

  • Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules.

  • Prepare tax filings, 1099s, and audit documentation.

  • Support financial analysis and reporting for leadership.

  • Administer and support the Spring Point Industrial ERP system.

  • Support ERP workflows, dashboards, reporting, data accuracy, and user troubleshooting.

  • Coordinate with ERP software support providers on testing, updates, and enhancements.

  • Improve ERP processes, internal controls, and accounting workflows.

 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or related field.

  • 2–5+ years of accounting experience.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, GL accounting, reconciliations, and financial statements.

  • Experience with inventory and WIP accounting preferred.

  • Manufacturing, industrial, distribution, service/repair, or job-costing experience preferred.

  • 2+ years of ERP/accounting system experience.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, and financial modeling.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to identify the root cause of accounting discrepancies within an ERP system.

  • Comfortable learning new technology and supporting ERP users.
