Pre-Manufactured Steel Building Erector – Support Federal Infrastructure Projects for B&G Construction LLC


Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will take a hands-on role in erecting vital pre-manufactured steel structures for federal and government infrastructure projects. This position offers dynamic outdoor challenges, steady weekly pay, and the opportunity to build high-impact structures nationwide. You will leverage your technical assembly skills to drive structural integrity on high-priority worksites.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Erect and align pre-engineered structural steel frameworks according to strict engineering plans.
  • Install metal wall panels, roof sheeting, insulation, and trim components with precise craftsmanship.
  • Assemble structural steel framing, trusses, purlins, and girts safely using specialized hand and power tools.
  • Unload, inventory, and stage structural materials safely to maintain an efficient site layout.
  • Rig, hoist, and signal structural steel members safely during overhead crane placement operations.
  • Inspect structural alignments continuously using plumb lines, levels, and laser measurement tools.
  • Enforce all federal jobsite safety standards and protocols across outdoor structural working zones.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in assembling and erecting pre-engineered metal buildings or structural steel systems.
  • Ability to work comfortably at elevated heights and perform strenuous labor in outdoor environments.
  • Absolute willingness to travel up to 20% of your working hours to various project sites nationwide.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated proficiency operating essential hand and power tools.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • 5 years of related experience in steel erection, metal building assembly, or general construction.
  • Direct experience working on federal, government, or municipal construction contract locations.
