Responsibilities

Position Purpose

Provide day-to-day sales, trading, and operational support to the Fixed Income Repo team. The role is responsible for assisting with client coverage, prospecting organization and updates, trade execution support, inventory and financing monitoring, trade capture, reconciliations, reporting, and coordination with Operations, Clearance, Compliance, Credit, and Finance teams. The individual will work closely with Repo Salespeople and Traders supporting treasury, agency, mortgage-backed, corporate, structured credit, and equity financing transactions. The role offers significant exposure to institutional fixed income markets and securities financing activities.

Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities

  • Repo Sales/Trading Assistant to work with current Repo team
  • Liaison between Repo desk and Operations teams
  • Support Internal Staff for client onboard, including meticulous status updates
  • Utilize AI to accelerate software delivery, automate workflows, and improve efficiency
  • Self-starter with ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements
  • Assist with daily funding, pricing, and inventory management across collateral types
  • Contribute to project management of repo infrastructure
  • Maintain prompt and regular attendance

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • BA or BS in a finance or economics related background
  • Comfortable leveraging AI-assisted development tools
  • Detail oriented with an interest in financial markets
  • Soft skills such as communication, teamwork, organization
  • Series 7 and Series 63 preferred but not required
  • Experience with Bloomberg preferred but not required
  • Spanish speaking preferred but not required

Hiring Salary Range $80,000 - $90,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data.) Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan. This compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
