Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our legal team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing legal support to all aspects of our real estate investment and operations activities. This position reports directly to the Associate General Counsel and involves close collaboration with leaders of all departments within the organization. This position will be based in the firm's Boca Raton, Florida office.
Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to a state bar and in good standing.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in real estate law.
  • Strong understanding of real estate transactions.
  • Ability to manage a team, work independently, prioritize tasks, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with a variety of complex commercial real estate transactions, including joint ventures, developments, acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions.
  • Analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving problems.
  • Excellent negotiation and written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
