Job description

Job Summary:
Nicolet National Bank is committed to community banking and dedicated to serving customers with excellence. The Software Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications, working on both front-end and back-end components to ensure optimal performance and seamless integration.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and thoroughly test production ready code to solve business problems.
• Create technical documentation to guide technology team members and other developers through your work.
• Identify areas for modification as well as maintaining and upgrading current code.
• Collaborate closely with the Nicolet technology teams, third parties, and subject matter experts.
• Learn existing and new technologies as the needs present themselves to help drive automation.
• Uphold Nicolet’s philosophy and policies by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legal responsibilities and enhancing the quality of services provided by Nicolet.
• Understand and communicate the value of diversity within the workplace and to work successfully with others without regard to age, gender, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, culture, religion, disability status, socioeconomic status or other non-job-related classification, including a commitment to Nicolet’s policies on equal employment opportunities and non-discrimination with a willingness to pursue efforts of inclusion and respect toward different perspectives.

Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years prior work experience as a software developer required.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without limitation.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environment.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle (design, implementation, testing, deployment).
• Experience working on complex business system integrations.
• Experience with object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience with core web technologies (HTML, Javascript, HTTP, HTTPS, etc.).
• Experience with relational databases and relational data models.
• Must be able to work fully in-office.
Preferred:
• Financial Services industry and Agile development experience preferred.
• Direct experience working on a SaaS platform for middle market and enterprise size companies; e.g. ServiceNow.
• Experience with a Configuration Management Database and the Common Service Data Model.
• Experience with REST integrations.
• Experience scripting with JavaScript and AngularJS.
• Knowledge in Agile development using Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
