Round One Entertainment is looking to hire Food Hall Associates our upcoming Yuu, Japanese Food Hall department.

Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is preferred.

Overview:

This position supports the day-to-day operations of a Japanese-themed food hall with up to 14 individual stalls, each specializing in different styles of Japanese cuisine (e.g., ramen, curry, yakitori, udon, etc.). The associate will ensure high levels of customer service, cleanliness, and efficient stall operations while maintaining food safety and organizational standards.

Essential Duties:

  • Operate POS registers at assigned stalls; handle food, drink, and alcohol transactions accurately.
  • Prepare and serve Japanese food and beverages in accordance with stall-specific SOPs and company policies and standards.
  • Support back-of-house operations including prep, dishwashing, and restocking.
  • Reset and clean shared food hall seating areas and ensure overall cleanliness of common spaces.
  • Execute opening and closing duties (e.g., cash handling, kitchen prep/clean-up, equipment checks).
  • Monitor and manage temperature logs for refrigerators, freezers, and hot-holding equipment.
  • Manages food and beverage inventory in accordance with the store’s policies and procedures. 


  • Manage inventory of dishes, utensils, and cleaning supplies at each stall.
  • Maintain regular restroom checks and sanitation duties, including laundering cleaning cloths.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer questions or concerns.
  • Cross-train to assist other stalls and food hall sections during peak hours or staff shortages.
  • Occasionally cross trains to assist Amusement & Bowling department with POS transactions. 


  • Follow food safety, allergen, and hygiene procedures consistently across all operations.
  • Other duties and responsibilities assigned by Department & Store Management. 


Non-Essential Duties:

  • Enforce alcohol service laws and age restrictions.
  • Participate in food hall lost and found protocols.
  • Seek continuous improvement in food stall workflows and service.
  • Follow up on assigned tasks and maintain a clean, organized working area.
  • Maintain high ethical standards and report any irregularities to management. 
  • Complies and maintains confidentiality of all company policies and procedures 


  • Support other departments or stalls when needed.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • 1–2 years of experience in food halls, food courts, or high-volume F&B environments.
  • Working knowledge or hands-on experience with Japanese cuisine.
  • Prior experience in BOH operations, kitchen prep, or cross-functional F&B roles.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, multi-stall setting.
  • Positive team attitude with flexibility to rotate across stalls and functions.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. 

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces. The employee is required to stand and walk for extensive periods of time without breaks during busy times. In addition, the employee will ne to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms. Lifting and/or moving up to 100lbs with assistance is requires.
