As a Sr. Equipment Associate at United Rentals, you are responsible for performing a variety of functions in support of branch operations, including staff supervision.

You'll provide labor assistance to Service Technicians, sales staff, and other branch personnel engaged in meeting the needs of customers including: checkout and demonstration of equipment, and operating a small delivery truck to transport equipment. What you'll do: Perform manual labor-intensive tasks, and supervise Equipment Associate(s) in similar tasks Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to branch Report machine condition to Counter Person/Service Manager for appropriate billing of customer Inspect rental equipment for safety decals, safety compliance, and ensure that equipment is in good working order Load and unload rental equipment, and prepare equipment for rental Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers as well as drive a delivery truck to pick-up and drop-off equipment Great customers and assist with customer inquiries Other duties assigned as needed Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Minimum 1 - 2 years related experience Effective communication, multi-tasking and strong teamwork skills Diligent attention to safety Superior customer service skills Knowledge of winch operations Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs. This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
