Job Description Summary

Sunbelt Rentals-the fastest-growing equipment rental business in North America-is seeking an Equipment Rental Specialist to support our Temporary Structures division. In this role, you will provide critical internal administrative and logistical support to keep field crews and projects running smoothly across the country. Serving as a key operational backbone, you will coordinate equipment, manage compliance and site access requirements, handle crew travel arrangements, and maintain project reporting to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Equipment and Logistics management: Order and track equipment, materials and supplies for the field install crews for projects across the country
  • Site access and Compliance coordination: Manage site access requirements including prescreens, drug screens, background checks, permits, and other necessary paperwork to ensure compliance withjobsite requirements
  • Crew and travel coordination: Maintain employee rosters, coordinate travel arrangements for field crews and ensure accurate scheduling to meet project timelines
  • Administrative support and problem solving: Organize project documentation and resolve logistical issues. Provide real time support to construction management and field team
  • Date reporting and management: Track project progress, maintain detailed records and generate reports


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

  • Strong administrative, organizational, and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex logistics, equipment ordering, and project documentation across multiple site locations.
  • Experience with site compliance processing, including drug screens, background checks, and badging or permits.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook) and field management databases or software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination with construction management, field crews, and external vendors.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to real-time operational demands.
  • Previous experience in equipment rental, construction, or event/project logistics preferred.


The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
