Industrial Maintenance Technician – Up to $36/hr

2nd & 3rd Shift | Contract-to-Hire & Direct Hire

A well-established and growing **manufacturing facility in the Lehigh Valley **is hiring **Industrial Maintenance Technicians **for 2nd and 3rd shift. This role offers **contract-to-hire and direct-hire **options, competitive pay, and long-term stability for experienced maintenance professionals.

What You’ll Be Doing

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep of the production facility, with a strong focus on **preventive maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment **while supporting production, quality, cost, and safety goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform daily plant maintenance, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on industrial equipment and PLC-controlled systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns on machinery and production lines
  • Set up, adjust, assemble, and disassemble machines as needed
  • Perform changeovers and install motors, belts, drives, and mechanical systems
  • Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner and assist with special projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings
  • Maintain maintenance records, PMs, downtime logs, and work requests using SAP and PC-based systems
  • Monitor and maintain building systems, including boilers and water softeners
  • Assist with building and grounds maintenance as assigned
  • Respond to radio calls for maintenance issues throughout the plant
  • Coordinate and monitor work performed by outside contractors

What We’re Looking For

  • Hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with PLCs, motors, sensors, drives, and control systems(preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Safety-focused, dependable, and professional
  • Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift
