Job description

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team and drive our relationships with hyperscale clients to new heights.

Project Manager:

The Project Manager is accountable for managing moderate size and complexity strategic account project orders (customer, affiliate, recall, etc.), from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager role is instrumental in mobilizing, managing, and reporting on service deployments for key strategic customers.    

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts pre-project meetings with client's local POC and ensures project goals are established 
  • Plans/coordinates travel and access to the site
  • Confirms daily THAs are being conducted by the Team Lead prior to beginning work each day
  • Completes project controls sheet on a weekly basis to ensure budgets are met  
  • Submits weekly reports to supervisor
  • Delivers post-project reports to client's POC at conclusion of projects  
  • Reviews/Approves timecards and employee expenses each week
  • Involved with new hire onboarding from Talent Acquisition requests, through candidate interviews, to standardized new hire onboarding process  
  • Engages with new hires in OTJ training until competency is met
  • 100% completion of required Talent LMS based training courses as assigned
  • 100% adherence to Salute Mission Critical safety standards and best practices
  • 100% adherence to client security/privacy practices and expectations

Professional Experience / Qualifications:

  • Project team lead or management experience to achieve improved results, measured through increased customer satisfaction and increased project profitability
  • Understanding of subcontractor management, project financials, and risk mitigation  
  • Technical understanding and communication to peers/management and client POCs  
  • Experience coordinating and developing sequence of operations and like documents as required to support execution team

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 40lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time in various work environments
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for equipment related tasks
  • Basic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergency situations and navigate areas quickly
  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently withing various work environments to troubleshoot issues or respond to emergencies.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for working with small components and connectors
  • Clear vision, with or without correction, to perform tasks requiring attention to detail and precision while wearing safety glasses
  • Ability to differentiate between color-coded warning signs, labels, and cables
  • Ability to work in environments with a wide variety temperature inside a facility
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, or snow
  • Capability to work in environments with elevated noise levels while wearing hearing protection
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license for work-related travel, as required
