Komline‑Sanderson is a leading provider of engineered solutions for the industrial and environmental markets, delivering high‑performance equipment across industries including wastewater treatment, mining, chemicals, and power generation. The Senior Project Manager will provide engineering support for projects by assisting with the design, development, and release of project documentation. The Senior Project Manager will communicate with clients and vendors on project details, scheduling, and provide technical support to other departments during project development and execution.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical design and specify system components for dryers, dewatering systems, filter presses, and process filtration equipment
  • Develop project schedules and coordinate with the client’s engineer and contractor
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for project-related issues
  • Prepare and communicate with the client and Komline personnel the necessary data to satisfy all technical requirements for all aspects of the project, including process and instrumentation diagrams, equipment layouts, and equipment specification for purchase.
  • Own project budgets, forecasts, margins, change orders, and financial performance
  • Identify and mitigate project risks to protect schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to project management processes
  • Interface with vendors to select the most cost-effective components
  • Generate purchase requisitions for supplier RFQ’s and create bid tabs for evaluation of supplier quotes
  • Generate project Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD)
  • Partner with sales, engineering, operations, and executive leaders to support business objectives
  • Write and edit O&M manuals including coordinating with vendors and sub-contractors to obtain their appropriate documentation
  • Work with the client’s contractor and Komline service personnel to install equipment, demonstrate performance, and train operators

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in project management
  • Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally
  • Experience with capital equipment projects and managing projects exceeding $1M
  • Contribute to the quality and integrity of the product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in an engineering discipline
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • Piping Design
  • Valves and instruments for process design
