Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Deburr / Material Handler Summary:
In this role, the Deburr / Material Handler is responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from metal parts while safely handling and transporting materials throughout the facility. This position requires experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts to support production and material flow.

Deburr / Material Handler Pay Rate: $18-$19/hr.

Deburr / Material Handler Hours: Monday - Friday, Day Shift

Deburr / Material Handler Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Remove burrs, nicks, rough edges, and other imperfections from sheet metal and steel plate.
  • Perform grinding, deburring, and finishing operations on fabricated metal parts.
  • Clean parts and prepare materials for the next stage of production.
  • Cut and remove scrap material from completed parts.
  • Load and unload materials and parts from production equipment and machines.
  • Operate overhead cranes to move materials, components, and finished products safely throughout the facility.
  • Operate forklifts to transport materials and support production needs.
  • Inspect parts to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
  • Read and use tape measures to verify dimensions and measurements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding material needs and production schedules.
  • Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Deburr / Material Handler Basic Requirements:
  • Previous deburring, grinding, or metal fabrication experience preferred.
  • Experience operating an overhead crane is required.
  • Forklift experience is required.
  • Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure.
  • Experience handling sheet metal, steel plate, or other industrial materials preferred.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Must be able to communicate and understand English.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical job duties throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
