Job Description
The Assistant/Associate Professor of Equine Medicine is a full-time faculty position responsible for teaching, research, and service in the field of veterinary medicine with a particular focus on equine medicine. Faculty in this role are expected to foster student learning, participate in research or scholarly activity, and engage in service to the profession and community. The position carries primary responsibility for teaching equine medicine in both pre-clinical and clinical courses, contributing directly to the mission of the University and the College of Veterinary Medicine
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree.
Eligibility for licensure in the state of Florida.
Advanced training in equine medicine (e.g., residency, specialty board certification, or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications
Previous teaching experience in an academic setting.
Veterinary clinical experience in equine practice.
Demonstrated record of research, scholarly activity, or professional contributions
