eProcurement Integration Specialist

Overview

Waters has an exciting and challenging opportunity available for an eProcurement Integration Specialist to support industry-leading B2B integration capabilities, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and contribute to excellence across our digital commerce programs and business operations.

As a key member of our Digital Experience Team, this position will coordinate and execute integration activities with Waters B2B customers from project kick-off through go-live, following the B2B integration life cycle. Success will require a customer-focused mindset, strong technical aptitude, disciplined follow-through, and effective collaboration with cross-functional colleagues, external customers, and third-party platform partners.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute eProcurement integration projects and customer onboarding activities, including setup, testing, issue resolution, go-live readiness, and post-launch support.
  • Manage multiple mid-size eProcurement, marketplace, or B2B integration workstreams simultaneously while maintaining clear priorities, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
  • Partner with Sales, IT, Customer Operations, Product Management, external customers, and third-party vendors to gather requirements, validate integration needs, and deliver project milestones.
  • Support testing and troubleshooting for punchout catalogs, order automation, invoice automation, EDI, cXML, XML, APIs, and related B2B integration flows.
  • Document integration requirements, test outcomes, customer-specific configurations, issue resolution steps, and standard operating procedures for onboarding and support activities.
  • Facilitate working sessions and project meetings with customer procurement and technical resources, third-party vendors, Sales, IT, and other teams as needed based on project scope.
  • Monitor integration progress, risks, open issues, and dependencies, escalating blockers and recommending practical solutions to keep projects moving forward.
  • Collaborate with technical resources and product managers to stay current on Waters digital commerce capabilities and identify opportunities to improve integration processes, templates, and customer experience.
  • Partner with eProcurement Support resources to provide second- or third-level customer-facing support when needed, including triage, root-cause analysis, and coordination of issue resolution.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience supporting eProcurement, eCommerce, B2B integration, customer onboarding, implementation, sales operations, services, or IT projects.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong project coordination skills, including the ability to manage timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder communication.
  • Understanding of digital commerce and B2B integration concepts, such as punchout catalogs, cXML, EDI, APIs, order management, invoice flows, or related data exchange processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot business or technical process issues, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and clearly communicate resolution steps to internal and customer stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, follow-through, and ownership.

Preferred or May Also Have:

  • Project management certification or formal project management training.
  • Experience with eProcurement platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, Tungsten, or similar marketplace and procurement systems.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, SAP Commerce, Quote to Cash, order management, or manufacturing business processes.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and collaboration or work-management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow.
  • Technical aptitude and learning agility, with the ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to improving customer experience and delivering measurable results through collaboration and continuous improvement.
