Runner – Plum Market Food Service – Eppley Airfield

Full-Time | Non-Exempt

About the Role:
 The Runner plays a critical role in ensuring efficient product flow between storage, prep areas, and food bar locations across Eppley Airfield. This position supports the daily replenishment of food, beverage, and supply items, maintaining readiness at all service points. The Runner works closely with the kitchen, receiving, and management teams to support fast-paced service and smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport food, supplies, and equipment between locations within the airport.
  • Ensure all items are delivered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor product stock levels and restock items as directed.
  • Assist with basic setup and breakdown of service stations as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of transport carts and ensure items are stored securely.
  • Communicate inventory or delivery issues promptly to the appropriate team.
  • Follow all airport security, safety, and sanitation procedures during transport duties.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a food service or stocking role preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, mobile environment.
  • Strong time-management and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push carts up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must pass an airport background check and qualify for badging.
  • Familiarity with airport operations and logistics.
  • Knowledge of food handling and transport safety procedures.

Sunday through Thursday - 5am to 1pm
