Job description

Kelly® is looking for a Clamp Truck, Cherry Picker, EPJ & Reach Truck Operator to work at a leading distribution center in Rincon, GA. Let us help you grow at work and discover the next step in your career, all while being a vital part of your community.

Pay: $20.50 per hour Shift:

1st Shift - 7am - 3:30pm 
 Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed, Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours

What’s a typical day as a Clamp Truck, Cherry Picker, EPJ & Reach Truck Operator? You’ll be:
  • Operating sit-down/standup forklifts, clamp trucks, cherry pickers, EPJ, and reach trucks to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise
  • Stacking and storing merchandise in designated areas using appropriate equipment
  • Unloading inbound shipments safely and moving products to storage locations
  • Pulling and preparing products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped
  • Performing picking duties to meet customer service standards
  • Moving product from staging/storage areas into trailers
  • Maintaining accurate records to guarantee inventory control and security
  • Assisting in physical inventories, stock rotation, and conducting cycle counts
  • Using RF scanning equipment to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Reporting inventory discrepancies and safety concerns to management
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a high school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Have at least 1 year of forklift experience and/or experience using warehouse distribution equipment
  • Are certified on at least three types of equipment (sit-down/standup, clamp, cherry picker, reach truck)
  • Can stand/walk for 10-12 hours and lift/pull up to 50 lbs without restriction
  • Are comfortable with regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching in a large warehouse environment
  • Are able to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Possess attention to detail, basic math skills, and excellent customer service skills
  • Have basic Excel and general computer knowledge
