Huron's Healthcare Transformation Services (HDTx) team works with healthcare organizations to solve their most complex EHR challenges, so we are constantly searching for skilled technical consultants to help our clients maximize their technology investments. Our Senior Consultants come with a wide variety of experience leveraging their technical expertise to help our clients enhance their EHR platform to improve care delivery, patient outcomes and profitability.
As an Epic Hospital Billing Consultant, you will:
  • Partner with healthcare consultants, IT teams and client leadership stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration, data migration and system performance of Epic systems.
  • Leverage technical expertise in Epic Hospital Billing modules providing support to optimize the systems functionality
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure functionality and data integrity in Epic Hospital Billing modules
  • Provide guidance on Epic Native Reporting, Billing Activities & Productivity Reporting
  • Identify opportunities for system optimization and enhancement to improve efficiency and user satisfaction

Requirements:
  • Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) certification, additional Epic certifications a plus
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience implementing Epic systems in hospitals and health systems
  • Project management skills with experience in Resolute HB applications, workflow design and Work Queues (follow-up, billing claim edit, denials, etc.)
  • Experience with Billing Edits - DNB, Claim Edits, Stop Bills as well as billing activities and productivity reporting
  • Willingness and ability to travel when necessary, however, at times you are required to provide high-level services remotely
  • Current permanent U.S. Work authorization required

Preferences:
  • Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS)
  • Experience in Charging including Rev Guardian, Charge Router, CDM Maintenance
  • Previous experience in claims, RMC Actions, Late Charge/Replacement Claim Processing, Self-Pay Workflows and Denial Management

The estimated base hourly rate range for this job will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans, which include medical, dental and vision coverage, and other wellness programs. The rate range of information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
