Job description

The Job Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is looking for Certified Epic Analysts to join the Epic Team. Epic Analyst II is a journey-level role responsible for supporting and optimizing Epic systems to ensure efficient and effective healthcare operations. Epic Analyst II collaborates with IT staff and end users to address system needs, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to projects that enhance workflows and overall efficiency.

This role is ideal for individuals with healthcare or technical experience who are interested in leveraging technology to improve operations and advance their career within ARMC. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center.

Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school. The County also offers an alternative Modified Benefits Option (MBO) that provides a wage differential. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a physical, background investigation, and verification of employment history and education. Certification: Incumbents must obtain and maintain Epic certification for the application/module to which they are assigned.

Certification for the application for which the incumbent was hired must be obtained within ninety (90) days of hire; this timeframe may be extended if Epic training schedules fall outside the 90-day period. Some positions may require additional Epic and/or vendor-specific certifications based on operational needs. When additional certifications are required, they must be obtained within six (6) months of notification by the supervisor or management team; this timeframe may also be extended due to Epic training availability.

Failure to obtain required certification(s) within the applicable timeframe, including any approved extension, may result in termination of employment. On-Call: Incumbents may be placed "On-Call" for nights, weekends and holidays depending on the certified module. Minimum Requirements Candidates must meet ALL of the following Certification and Experience requirements: CERTIFICATION Current Epic Certification in one or more modules by Epic Systems Corporation. EXPERIENCE One (1) year full-time experience as an Epic Analyst I with ARMC. -OR- One (1) year of full-time experience on an Epic team performing system builds, configurations, and providing user support with Epic.

Desired Qualifications The ideal candidate will be certified in multiple modules and have two (2) years experience working with Epic systems, strong technical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with IT staff and end users to optimize workflows and support efficient healthcare operations.
