Job description

A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist for an inpatient role in a 500-bed hospital setting that includes a 42-bed NICU and a 14-bed Pediatric ICU. This position supports quality patient care through expert medication management and collaboration with the healthcare team.
Location: Lubbock, TX
Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off - Night shift (Wednesday through Tuesday rotation)
Type: Travel opportunity, with potential for permanent placement for candidates open to relocating
Responsibilities:

  • Perform general inpatient pharmacy duties involving medication preparation, verification, and distribution
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacological therapy for inpatients
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
  • Utilize EPIC system for medication order review and documentation, supporting safe and efficient patient care
Qualifications:
  • 1 to 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience highly preferred
