You Are:

An experienced Epic Payer Platform Lead who has personally configured or led configuration of EPP Capabilities in a production healthcare environment

The Work:

Depending on the client engagement, the Epic Payer Platform Lead will be responsible for overseeing the collaboration of multipleteamwith Accenture team. This person needs hands-on build experience in at least two of the following areas: CDE (Clinical Data Exchange), Coverage Finder, HPCS, Care Gap Exchange, Member Insights or ADT Event Notifications. The right person will havebuildexperience but will be ready to transitionin toan advisory role guiding the client's build team. In addition to running the Accenture team, client team, software vendor team, and client in the following areas, in addition to supporting the internal growth and development of the ATC's Epic Team:

  • Experience with project plan creation and joint design sessions with Epic Implementation Team.

  • Take end user information to create a very detailed scope and get sign off from the Operations team. Translating business requirements into Epic-native configuration in real time.

  • Create a detailed Excel project plan and DRIVE through status calls as well as individual status updates you make sure to stay on top of.

  • Portray competence and confidence to the Operations / Client resources

  • Be concise and clear in escalations and status reporting

  • Every project will have some level of new complexity that you will need to figure outin order todeliver the project

  • Be prepared to dig into some areas to figure out how to do the standard

  • A strong DRIVER personality - Drive status updates and to understand the intricacies of what is needed

  • Assist with the analysis and design of new business workflows.

  • Identify and define detailed product requirements and use cases. Assign resources to projects based off skill and mastery.

  • Provide input into high level functional specifications.

  • Participate in quality management reviews of the design and performance of work products to ensure they fulfill the requirements.

  • Perform or advise on system configuration and integration setup and assist with testing activities.

  • Serve as an intermediary with client's Epic team and Accenture tech leads to support bilateral understanding of data structures, workflows and technology capabilities and limitations.

  • Assist in the development and documentation of data requests and source to target mapping.

  • Other duties as assigned. This work may include implementation, optimization, upgrades, and application support.

  • Epic Tapestry certification in Claims, E&E, Benefits Engine, CRM, or UM - strongly preferred and the most relevant neighboring credential

  • Resolute PB or HB experience - helpful for troubleshooting claims data flows that span payer and provider systems

  • ADT/GrandCentral configuration experience - directly relevant to Wave 1 scope

  • Familiarity with Epic integration standards (FHIR R4, EDI X12, CDA/CCDA) as applied to EPP data exchange

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements

What You Need:

  • Minimum of 8years experiencein Healthcare IT role

  • Minimum of 1yearsexperiencein an Epic Payer Platform leadership role

  • A minimum of 5 years of Program or Project Management Experience including experience reporting accountability for projects/programs to executive leadership and requirement gathering from Clinical leadership

  • Epic Non-Clinical Certification required (HIM, Patient Access (Cadence or Grand Central), Revenue Cycle (Resolute HB, Resolute PB), etc.)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (IfAssociate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Bonus Points If:

  • Experience and/or certification in an Epic Payer cert is preferred

  • Epic Tapestry, Epic Resolute HB, Epic Resolute PB or ADT/Grand Centralcertification/experience

  • Experience in leading multiple teams through separate iterations of projects
