TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina.

CLINICAL INTERVIEWS

Unit Information:
Beds: 32
Average Census: 32
Minimum Years of Experience required? 18 months of Med/Tele exp
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes

Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:  RN: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Technology/Equipment:
EMR: EPIC – experience required
IV Pump: Alaris
Med dispensing: Omnicell
Monitors: Phillips
Rover Communication

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:  Stroke, Seizure, AMS, generalized weakness, AKI/CKD, Falls, Cellulitis, Non-healing wounds

Patient Ratios:  Days/Nights: 1:5-6 - (surge staffing could increase ratios up to 1:7-8)

Skills required:  RN: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating Cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone), general medical/surgical skillset. EPIC experience required.

Floating:
Within region and scope of practice
Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable
Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children’s Hospital)
If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
