Job description

Position Title

Epic OpTime & Radiant Analyst (Interventional Radiology)


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Epic OpTime & Radiant Analyst to support and optimize Interventional Radiology (IR) workflows within a healthcare environment. This individual will work closely with Radiology leadership, procedural services teams, clinicians, operational stakeholders, and technical teams to maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot functionality across both Epic Radiant and OpTime.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Interventional Radiology operations and procedural workflows, with experience supporting Epic Radiant and OpTime through system enhancements, workflow optimization, issue resolution, upgrades, and ongoing production support. Candidates certified in both applications are strongly preferred.


Additional Key Responsibilities

Add the following responsibilities:

  • Support and optimize Epic OpTime workflows associated with Interventional Radiology procedures and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with procedural services, operating room leadership, anesthesia teams, nursing staff, and radiology stakeholders to ensure seamless workflow integration.
  • Configure and maintain Epic OpTime records related to IR procedural cases, documentation, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Analyze cross-application workflows between OpTime, Radiant, Orders, Cadence, and other Epic applications to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Support procedural scheduling, case request management, documentation workflows, and charge capture processes within Interventional Radiology.

Required Qualifications

Replace the current qualifications section with:

  • Epic Radiant Certification (Required).
  • Epic OpTime Certification strongly preferred; certification in both Radiant and OpTime is highly desired.
  • 3+ years of Epic analyst experience supporting Radiant, OpTime, or both applications within a healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Interventional Radiology procedural workflows.
  • Strong understanding of radiology imaging workflows, procedural scheduling, documentation, charge capture, and clinical operations.
  • Experience with Epic build, configuration, testing, implementation, optimization, and production support.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex application and workflow issues across multiple Epic applications.
  • Experience supporting upgrades, release management, and enhancement initiatives.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Add the following:

  • Epic OpTime Certification.
  • Active Epic certifications in both Radiant and OpTime.
  • Experience supporting procedural areas such as Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, or Surgical Services.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.
