Opportunity:
Advanced Practitioners - Hospitalist/Emergency
Job Details:
  • Nurse Practitioner (APRN) sought to join a large, vibrant, and growing hospitalist team
  • Provide full-spectrum inpatient care including triaging, admitting, rounding, discharging, and addressing changes in clinical status
  • Setting: Inpatient medicine, hospitalist
  • Schedule: Full-time days with a flexible schedule and premium differentials offered
  • No call required
  • Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients
  • Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs in consultation with physicians and care team members, including referrals to specialists
  • Identify problems outside scope of practice and refer appropriately to physician
  • New graduates are welcome to apply; 1+ year of hospital medicine experience preferred
  • Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
  • Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Acute Care certified Nurse Practitioner
  • Comprehensive orientation provided by experienced Physician and Advanced Practice Hospitalists
