Job description


We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Epic Dorothy Build Analyst to support Home Health optimization and enhancement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong Epic Dorothy build expertise, a solid understanding of Home Health operations, and the ability to recommend Epic best practices and alternative solutions when needed. This role will partner with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to design, configure, test, and implement system improvements that enhance Home Health workflows and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
  •  Analyze, design, build, test, and implement Epic Dorothy enhancements and optimization requests. 
  •  Review Home Health operational workflows and translate business requirements into Epic solutions. 
  •  Configure and maintain Epic Dorothy application settings, records, and workflows. 
  •  Provide recommendations based on Epic best practices and industry standards. 
  •  Identify alternative approaches and solutions when proposed enhancements are not technically feasible. 
  •  Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to gather requirements and validate solutions. 
  •  Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to Dorothy functionality. 
  •  Support change management activities, including documentation and knowledge transfer. 
  •  Participate in project meetings and provide status updates on assigned tasks. 
  •  Ensure system configurations align with organizational goals and compliance requirements. 
Required Qualifications
  •  Current Epic Dorothy Certification (Required). 
  •  Proven experience as an Epic Dorothy Build Analyst. 
  •  Strong knowledge of Home Health workflows and operations. 
  •  Hands-on experience with Epic build, configuration, testing, and optimization activities. 
  •  Ability to analyze complex requirements and develop effective system solutions. 
  •  Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 
  •  Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. 
  •  Experience providing strategic recommendations and alternative solution options. 
Preferred Qualifications
  •  Experience supporting Home Health optimization or enhancement projects. 
  •  Familiarity with integrated Epic applications and clinical workflows. 
  •  Experience working in healthcare provider environments. 
  •  Knowledge of Epic implementation and upgrade methodologies.
