Job Summary:
T2 Group is a dynamic consulting and workforce solutions firm specializing in healthcare IT and patient access. They are seeking an experienced Agile IT Project Manager with a deep understanding of Epic EMR systems to lead cross-functional teams and deliver high-impact technology projects, particularly within Epic environments.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Lead Epic-related project initiatives (e.g., implementation, optimization, integration, upgrades) using Agile project management principles.
โ€ข Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
โ€ข Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Epic analysts, IT engineers, clinical staff, and leadership to define and deliver project objectives.
โ€ข Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent initiatives.
โ€ข Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and expectations.
โ€ข Document and track user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
โ€ข Proactively identify and mitigate risks or roadblocks to ensure project success.
โ€ข Maintain alignment with compliance standards, data privacy regulations (HIPAA), and change management best practices.
โ€ข Deliver timely status reports and project updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
โ€ข Cultivate strong client relationships and maintain T2 Techโ€™s reputation for excellence in delivery.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred.
โ€ข 5+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 2 years focused on Epic EMR-related projects.
โ€ข Solid understanding of Epic modules such as Resolute, Cadence, Prelude, or others.
โ€ข Strong working knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
โ€ข Proven experience leading Agile teams in a healthcare or consulting environment.
โ€ข Ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and manage competing priorities.
โ€ข Outstanding communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills.
โ€ข Experience in healthcare IT environments, especially with provider organizations like hospitals or health systems.
Preferred:
โ€ข PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or similar Agile/PM certification.
โ€ข Previous consulting experience with healthcare IT or digital transformation.
โ€ข Experience using Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps).
โ€ข Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, or other healthcare integration standards.
โ€ข Ability to translate technical discussions into clear business terms for non-technical audiences.
