We are seeking an experienced, leadership-driven Regional Nurse Consultant (RN) to oversee, guide, and support the clinical operations of 3-4 skilled nursing facilities within the Chicago area. This regional role acts as a strategic clinical partner to our facility leadership teams, ensuring the highest standards of resident care, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Regional Nurse Consultant, you will provide clinical oversight, auditing, and strategic guidance to your assigned portfolio of skilled nursing facilities. Core duties include:

Clinical Oversight & Consultation: Provide regular guidance, mentoring, and support to facility Directors of Nursing and clinical leadership teams to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance: Monitor, audit, and evaluate clinical systems to ensure absolute compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Lead mock surveys and assist facilities with survey preparation, correction plans, and dispute resolutions.

Quality Metric Analytics: Review and analyze key clinical data points, including Quality Measures, MDS metrics, rehospitalization rates, and incident reports, to implement proactive clinical interventions.

Leadership Development: Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing retention of facility DONs and clinical managers, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.

Clinical System Implementation: Standardize and implement clinical policies, risk management protocols, and specialized care programs across your assigned region.

Qualifications:
