EPC Project Manager - Client Services

Core Job Responsibilities

Supports the Senior PM in day-to-day project management activities across FEL/Detailed Engineering, EPC, and self-perform construction scopes.

On a case by case basis can serve as a secondary point of contact with clients; builds working relationships to develop trust and familiarity with client teams.

Assists in scope alignment between internal engineering, procurement, and construction teams and client representatives.

Participates in bid walks, proposal preparation, and client presentations under direction of senior staff.

Tracks project execution baseline (schedule, budget, scope) and escalates variances to the responsible Senior PM.

Supports overall change management process: logs RFIs, CCNs, and MOCs; prepares draft documentation for Senior PM review.

Monitors project financials including budget status, cost forecasting, invoicing milestones, and subcontract commitments.

Facilitates and documents internal project team meetings; prepares meeting minutes and distributes action items.

Coordinates with clients on routine project communications, submittals, and action item tracking.

Works across multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment; prioritizes effectively under competing deadlines.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering (Strongly Preferred) with Construction Management or a related technical discipline considered.

7-10 years of experience in the capital projects environment (engineering and/or construction with EPC a major plus).

2โ€“4 years of direct project management or project engineering experience on industrial EPC projects.

Project engineering or construction engineering background on industrial projects (Downstream, Midstream, Chemical, or similar).

Experience supporting or managing projects ranging from $1Mโ€“$25M; exposure to larger scopes a plus.

Physical Requirements

Occasionally lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds

Sit for long periods of time

Occasionally stoop, kneel or crouch

Use hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects

Environment

Working conditions encountered in this job include those found in a typical office setting as well as an indoor/outdoor manufacturing setting which includes exposure to outside weather conditions, work at elevated heights, climbing of stairs and ladders, and physical manipulation of tools and mechanical equipment. This job demands the use of typical manufacturing personal protective equipment as well as advanced protective equipment as needed.
