Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN with BLS and ACLS certifications for a 13-week assignment on a 7A-7P schedule.

Details
  • Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 3 procedure rooms
  • Unit staffed by RNs and Cath Lab Techs, with day shift coverage of 1 supervisor, 3 RNs, and 2 Cath Lab Techs
  • Night shift coverage is on-call only, staffed by RNs and Cath Lab Techs
  • Team-based care model with 3 team members per patient procedure
  • Uses Phillips and Siemens Fluoroscopy equipment
  • EMR systems used include MERGE Hemo for Cath Lab documentation and Meditech Expanse
  • Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Floating required to Pre/Post Cath Department
  • Schedule includes one full weekend plus 2 weekdays for a total of 10 shifts per four-week period
Requirements
  • Active TX or Compact RN license required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience required
  • Electrophysiology experience preferred
  • US SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • One professional reference required
Additional Information
  • Perform procedures including left and right heart caths, pacemaker/ICD, Watchman, IR procedures, vascular procedures, and EP ablations (PFA)
  • Adheres to procedural guidelines including universal precautions, timeout procedures, and moderated sedation guidelines
  • Hospital-provided sky blue scrubs required
  • Best suited for team players who are flexible
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
  • No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
