Job description

Registered Nurse– Cardiac Cath Lab (Day Shift)

Location: Burlington, MA, 01805    
Shift: Day Shift (4x10s), 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Duration: 13-weeks contract
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Weekly Pay: $3,000–$3,200; (Negotiable based on experience)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Function in all Cath Lab roles: circulator, monitor, scrub, and sedation RN.
    • Operate and manage devices: IABP, Impella, hemodynamic monitors.
    • Monitor and respond to patient status during procedures.
    • Administer medications and moderate sedation as appropriate.
    • Participate in on-call and emergency response coverage.
    • Ensure accurate documentation and maintain sterile technique.
    • Collaborate with cardiology, EP, and multidisciplinary teams.
    • Educate patients pre- and post-procedure.
    • Support room prep, turnover, and equipment/inventory management.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)—required

    Licensure/Certifications:

    • Active Massachusetts RN License – required
    • BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) – required
    • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) – preferred

        Experience:

        • Recent Cath Lab RN experience – required (ideally 3-5 years minimum)
        • ICU or ED background – preferred
        • EP Lab experience – preferred but not required
        • IABP and Impella experience required
        • ECMO experience preferred
        • Experience in all Cath Lab and/or EP roles highly preferred (sedation, monitor, circulator, and scrub roles)
