What is an Eos?

In the workplace, 'Eos' often refers to the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), a set of concepts and tools designed to help businesses improve efficiency, accountability, and growth. EOS is a framework used by leadership teams to clarify their vision, gain traction, and foster a healthy organizational culture. It provides tools for setting goals, solving issues, and maintaining effective meetings, helping companies run more smoothly. The term 'Eos' could also refer to job titles such as EOS Implementer, professionals who assist organizations in adopting this system. Understanding the context is important, as 'Eos' may have different meanings in other industries.

What are some typical challenges faced by Eos when collaborating with cross-functional teams?

Enterprise Operations Specialists (Eos) often work closely with cross-functional teams such as IT, finance, and customer support. A common challenge is aligning diverse team priorities and communication styles to ensure smooth operational workflows. Eos professionals must be adaptable, skilled at conflict resolution, and proactive in sharing updates to keep projects on track. Successfully navigating these dynamics helps improve process efficiency and fosters stronger collaboration across departments.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Eos implementer, and why are they important?

To thrive as an EOS Implementer, you need a solid background in business management, organizational development, and process facilitation, often supported by experience in leadership or consulting roles. Familiarity with EOS tools and frameworks, as well as certification from EOS Worldwide, is typically required. Exceptional communication, active listening, and conflict resolution skills help guide leadership teams through change and foster accountability. These competencies are essential for successfully helping organizations adopt and sustain the EOS model for long-term growth and operational excellence.

Job description

Build the Systems and Leadership Structure Behind Exceptional Homes

Aspire Fine Homes is a Houston-based luxury custom home builder creating architect-designed homes in some of the area's most desirable neighborhoods. With a streamlined, transparent process and a commitment to craftsmanship, client experience, and guaranteed pricing, Aspire helps homeowners turn their vision into a finished home that feels effortless, personal, and elevated.

Director of Operations (EOS Integrator)

This role serves as the operational right‑hand to the Owner/Visionary, leading the company's day‑to‑day execution across construction operations, project management, scheduling, administration, field execution, and client experience. The ideal candidate not only manages existing systems but also builds new structures, improves accountability, and scales the company with discipline and clarity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the leadership team with clarity, consistency, and high expectations.
  • Hold team members accountable to company goals, KPIs, priorities, and core values.
  • Oversee company operations across office, field, construction, project management, scheduling, and administration.
  • Improve systems, workflows, and processes to reduce friction, increase efficiency, and support scalable growth.
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with Aspire's quality and client experience standards.
  • Facilitate leadership meetings, quarterly planning, scorecards, Rocks, and issue resolution using EOS/Traction principles.
  • Work with ownership to review budgets, project margins, labor performance, forecasting, and operational profitability.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop high‑performing leaders across departments.
  • Strengthen accountability systems and ensure the "Right People, Right Seats" philosophy is actively maintained.
  • Bring structure, follow‑through, and operational discipline to a fast‑moving luxury construction environment.
Qualifications
  • 5‑8+ years of operational leadership, management, or executive‑level experience.
  • Construction experience strongly preferred; residential custom homebuilding or commercial construction experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to build systems, improve operations, and lead cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, project execution, construction operations, budgets, and field coordination.
  • Experience with EOS/Traction is strongly preferred.
  • Highly organized, disciplined, and results‑oriented with strong follow‑through.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Comfortable partnering closely with a visionary owner and turning ideas into clear execution.
  • Calm under pressure, confident in making decisions, and able to hold the line with professionalism.
  • Must reside in the Houston metropolitan area or be able to relocate prior to employment.
Pay and Benefits
  • Full‑time, W‑2 Employment
  • Base Salary: $120,000‑$180,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and leadership background.
  • Eligible for performance‑based bonus compensation tied to company and individual performance goals.
  • Company‑paid employee health insurance.
  • Paid time off and holidays.
  • Leadership growth opportunity as Aspire Fine Homes scales.
  • Schedule: Full‑time, Monday‑Friday. Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required based on project and leadership needs.
Why Aspire Fine Homes

Aspire Fine Homes is a small, established, high‑integrity team with big growth goals. The company currently builds luxury custom homes in the $2M‑$4M range and is preparing to grow with the right systems, leadership, and operational discipline in place. This is an opportunity to work directly with the owner, shape the company's next chapter, and create the structure that allows a respected Houston builder to scale without losing quality, culture, or client trust. If you love operations, accountability, and building something that lasts, this is the role for you.

Aspire Fine Homes is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.
