Job description

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties are listed at the ND-04.Qualifications:TO QUALIFY FOR ND-04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 (GS-09/11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional scientist planning and executing complex analyses in order to support the assessment of explosive ordnance disposal tools and technologies with little to no oversight by preparing technical and programmatic plans for EOD technology assessment projects; independently plan and conduct testing and research on EOD equipment to determine the equipment's capabilities and limitations.
TO QUALIFY FOR ND-03: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-02 (GS-05 through 08 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector planning and executing analyses in order to support the assessment of explosive ordnance disposal tools and technologies by drafting technical and programmatic plans for EOD technology assessment projects; conduct testing and research on EOD equipment to determine the equipment's capabilities and limitations.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.Education:
A. Degree: physical science, engineering, or mathematics that included 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics.
OR
B. Combination of education and experience -- education equivalent to one of the majors shown in A above that included at least 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science, plus appropriate experience or additional education.Employment Type: OTHER
