Compensation:

Join us as a Field Technician, where you'll support environmental sampling and testing activities across air, soil, water, and related areas. This role provides opportunities to build foundational field and environmental knowledge while supporting critical testing programs and customer needs.

What You'll Do

  • Travel to customer and environmental testing sites
  • Collect, process and test environmental samples, including air, soil, water, and related media
  • Perform field services using standard environmental support practices, including sample collection, test kit completion, and documentation of results
  • Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, materials, and results as required
  • Prepare vehicles for daily field operations, including instruments, supplies, kits, materials, documentation, and safety equipment
  • Complete and maintain logs, forms, databases, and other documentation accurately and timely
  • Assist with research and recommendations to resolve operational, customer, or employee issues
  • Support the review and implementation of field/environmental programs to meet operational and organizational needs
  • Assist with ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; escalate issues when needed
  • Contribute to team effectiveness by offering suggestions for improvements
  • Promote Pace Analytical's mission through professional, courteous, and cooperative interactions with customers and coworkers

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in related work preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • One year of experience in a laboratory or environmental setting is preferred
  • The ability to travel with some overnight stays

Licenses and Certifications

  • Valid driver's license
  • Continued employment is contingent upon maintaining all required licenses and certifications in active status
