HPC-Industrialย Powered by Clean Harborsย inย Deer Park, TXย is looking for anย Environmental Technician IIย to join their safety conscious team! Theย Environmental Technician IIย responsibilities may include confined space entry, working at heights and working alongside several diverse types of equipment. This is a physically intensive position.

  • Must be able to travel for extended periods of time.

  • Valid driver's license or identification card.

  • MUST have transportation to and from work.

  • CDL (Class A Preferred)

  • Respond to emergency calls 24 hours, 7 days a week if called upon.

  • Ability to work for extended periods of time within a confined space, in extreme temperature environments and at high elevations.

  • Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures.

  • Ability to understand and follow specific procedures and directions.

  • Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.

  • Ability to lift, move and handle up to 50lbs.

  • Physically capable of standing and or walking continuously for extended periods of time if necessary.

  • Physically capable of climbing, bending / stooping, and kneeling continuously.

  • Must always come to work fit for duty.

  • Operate and set up all necessary cleaning equipment such as but not limited to pumps, hoses, and circulators in accordance with operations job schematics, training, guidelines, and safety procedures.

  • Monitor all equipment during circulation for integrity and efficiency.

  • Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to wearing personal protective equipment.ย 

  • Maintain personal PPE.

  • Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, hot, and cold industrial environments.

  • Maintain and perform premaintenance on equipment.

  • Help install, fix, repair valves, caps, hoses, pump gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment.

  • Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, pumps hose connections, chemical circulators, and general work area prior to starting any job. Inform supervisor of deficiencies, which may cause accidents, injuries, or lost productivity.
