Summary:

Performs a variety of routine environmental services duties and maintains cleanliness in accordance with established standards and protocols. Type of Opportunity: Full time Job Exempt: No Job is based: Plains Regional Medical Center Work Shift: Evenings (United States of America)

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains all areas in accordance with departmental standards.

  • Ensures proper infection control procedures are followed when handling linen, trash, medical waste, and performing cleaning tasks.

  • Demonstrates understanding of the PI Program, Excellence in Action, required competencies, and the Mission & Vision of PRMC.

  • Maintains and safely operates all housekeeping equipment.

  • Reports relevant information promptly to the supervisor or appropriate authority.

  • Completes required departmental record keeping and documentation.

  • Maintains appropriate linen and supply levels throughout the department.

  • Performs routine floor care and maintenance.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
