Job description

Job Summary: To perform a variety of cleaning, janitorial and related duties as required to maintain hospital building and all assigned areas within the hospital in a sanitary, orderly and attractive condition. To move light furniture, equipment and supplies in all work areas as needed which include patient rooms, nursing stations, corridors, lounges, bathrooms, nourishment rooms, utility rooms, and offices.
Qualifications: Basic ability to read and understand simple instructions. No prior work experience required. Some ability to follow specific documented procedures. Some ability to deal tactfully with public and other hospital personnel.
