Position Summary:

Maison d'Etude Academy is seeking a qualified and experienced Math & Science Tutor to provide in-person academic support to high school students in Montreal, QC. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, proven teaching or tutoring experience, and the ability to inspire confidence and curiosity in their students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-person, one-on-one tutoring in high school level Math and Science (Secondary I-V).

  • Reinforce core concepts through targeted practice, assignments, and supplementary resources.

  • Maintain ongoing communication with students' families regarding progress and goals.

  • Accurately log sessions and notes using our internal scheduling system.

  • Support students in developing independent study habits and long-term academic skills.

  • Qualifications:
  • University degree in a relevant field (Education, Science, Engineering, or Mathematics preferred).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of tutoring or teaching experience at the high school level.
  • Strong knowledge of Quebec curriculum standards in Math and Science.
  • Bilingual (English/French) preferred.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to provide in-person support in the Montreal area.
  • Police background check required.
