Pharmacy Tech Retail Trainee

Pay or shift range: $19.20 USD to $28.80 USD The posted range is the budgeted amount for this position. The actual rate of pay will be determined based on several factors, including your relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, and alignment with Meritus Health's compensation practices.

Are you a high school student or recent graduate interested in healthcare or science? This is your chance to get real-world experience in a pharmacy while learning on the job!

What You'll Do

As a Pharmacy Tech Retail Trainee, you'll work alongside licensed pharmacists and pharmacy techs to:

  • Learn how to prepare and label medications
  • Help customers pick up prescriptions and answer basic questions
  • Enter data into pharmacy systems
  • Help with ordering, stocking, and organizing medications
  • Support special programs like curbside pickup and bedside delivery

You'll also complete online and in-person training to build your skills and prepare for your Maryland Pharmacy Technician License (which you'll need within 6 months of starting).
