Responsibilities
Process Engineer – Advanced Packaging and Assembly (Flexible / Alternative Schedule)
We are seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to support the manufacture of next-generation System-in-Package (SiP) modules integrated with microwave and mmWave subsystems across Keysight, serving multiple industries.
This role is primarily focused on supporting manufacturing and engineering operations ensuring continuity of production, rapid issue resolution, and sustained throughput outside of standard business hours. It is well suited for candidates who are hands-on, eager to learn, and capable of growing into increased ownership over time, whether early in their career or bringing adjacent experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily manufacturing operations
  • Monitor and sustain package assembly processes to ensure stable and efficient production
  • Troubleshoot process and equipment issues in real time, driving immediate containment and resolution
  • Escalate critical issues appropriately while maintaining continuity of operations
  • Execute process adjustments during production and document outcomes
  • Maximize productive time and minimize lot hold times 
  • Provide clear and structured handoffs to day shift teams, including issues encountered and actions taken
  • Assist with data collection and basic analysis to support ongoing process improvements
  • Contribute to longer-term process or equipment improvements as experience grows

Qualifications
Required Expertise
  • Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 2–5+ years of experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, hardware engineering, or similar technical environments (can include internships, co-ops, academic lab work)
  • Experience troubleshooting processes or equipment in production or lab settings
  • Ability to independently support operations with minimal supervision
  • Strong judgement and problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and accountability
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
Experience in some of the following areas is helpful, but not required:
  • Semiconductor manufacturing, advanced packaging, or assembly processes
  • SMT, die attach, thermocompression bonding, or similar hardware processes
